The Lodge is located on the shores of the Laguna Grande in the Cuyabeno Reserve, close to the Equator line. It was constructed using materials which would have a minimum impact upon the environment but allow maximum observation of the Reserve's wildlife from the Lodge itself.
The Lodge consists of seven independent cabins, each with two double rooms with private bathroom and hot water. The cabins are constructed in wood and have thatched roofs.

Lighting is by gas and solar energy. Facilities include a dining-room and a bar. The Lodge can accommodate twenty-eight guests in double rooms but this capacity can be augmented upon request.
